Shopping Cart Help

I am needing some guidance in building a shopping cart that supports Paypal, and major cc's written in VB. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

any source code downloads, books, etc would be appreciated!

Kevin

take a look at the paypal starter kit in .net 2.0

http://www.commercestarterkit.org/

Note: it will only work under full trust, so be careful.

If you just want to do paypal standarnd, then take a look at Rick Strahl's paypal integration article

http://www.west-wind.com/presentations/PayPalIntegration/PayPalIntegration.asp

it's extremely helpful and you can use his source code right out of the box.

hope that helps.

Hope that helps. Thanks !!!

Hi a4nsd,

I have looked at both the beerhouse and commerce starter but they are much too daunting at this early stage in my career. Thank you for your post

Liming,

Thanks for the post! If I was using C# this would be incredibly useful! However, I am looking for something written in VB... any ideas?

thnx

There is a VB version of the starter kit Liming refers to?

Click the download button and look at the available versions...

bpw,

Thanks but as I pointed out, that is much too complex at this time. I just need a simple bare bones cart to study...

thanks,

I don't think you did point that out - you just commented that it was in C# not VB?

Anyway, you may benefit more from getting a book and working through a simple example from scratch. I built my first cart from Mastering Web Development with VS2005. I didn't rate the book much actually, but it got me started. Many web development books have examples as it's a popular subject.

Good luck

Sorry, that was a post to a4nsd.. I assumed that you had read all of the posts... neway, I appreciate your help!
