Shopping Cart Recommendations

All,

I am currently researching to find the best way to implement a shopping cart that will allow for the purchasing of files for download. For example, I would like for a user to be able to select a file such as an mp3 and add it to their shopping cart. However, they would not be able to download the file until purchasing.

Does anyone have any recommendations on current solutions that might be out there for this, or some suggestions on implementing myself.
