I'm starting to do use asp more and more, currently have about 15 pages for clients in asp.net.
Now my clients are using pda's with wireless capabilities. I'm finding that most, if not all, of my web pages don't function on them. I recently read that 2.0 has wrapped up their mobile and regular controls making it easier to code for both instances. Since I can't seem to find a way to make my current forms work on the PDAs I though upgrading to 2.0 now would be a good idea.
Is it a huge migration process? (like vb 6 to vb.net)
I'm having such a hard time now, I don't want to add a huge learning curve too.
Thanks!
In ASP.NET 1.1, you have a separate mobile web application option, so you can create sites for mobile devices. Just in 2.0 they've integrated them more. However, it's still in beta and not guaranteeing that everything will work... I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking at production...
